Broken oil trap hose

Is the oil vapor separator hose previously mentioned as having broken and caused an oil smell by someone claiming to be Jarvis a hard plastic when new or softer. Is it high temp or would any of the correct o.d work? I have mine completely removed ( in 3 pieces, as mine broke too). Quite brittle I might add. The only way I removed it was to remove the intake manifold. Just remember, if you do that, and mine is a 95 850 wagon, there is a bolt connecting the oil dipstick to the bottom of the intake. If you don't remove it, the dipstick sleeve comes out with the intake. On my car there were 9 bolts total and a metal line on the lower drivers side to be removed. I did not remove any electrical connectors. I figured since mine was broken, I would change everything. But I didn't have the hose, so I must go get it.
Good Luck
