Eaten wires?

Yup rodents like to chew wores - it is more the shape and texture that atracts them I think, after the warmth of an engine draws them. As far as I know all cars are vulnerable to this problem.

Remember to thump on your hood or tap the horn before starting your car when you are parked around animals - especially in cool weather - because often cats and other creatures will try to sleep in the warm engine and be killed when you start up :(
