squeaky 850 struts, what exactly makes noise?? 850

guys I come to you for more advice. I have a 95 850 turbo, that makes a funny squeak noise almost over every bump in the road. I took some rubber lubricant and moistened the area around the strut tower and as i expected, the noise went away...temporarily. I noticed as I was inspecting the car, there were dry black rubber flakes accumulating near the the tops of the strut towers, where the strut bearings bolt to. So it looks like some rubber component is wearing out, I'm guessing its the rubber spring seat at the top UNDER the strut bearing/mount. I am looking to see if anyone else has had this problem, and what was replaced. I am planning to order this stuff from eeuroparts.com and as such I need to pick what i need now.

Thanks in advance,

Juan
