what should I change to get better gas mileage..i have a list of things to look at but 850 1995

I have been getting pretty bad gas mileage for a while now and since gas prices for premium are crazy, i was thinking what can i change to definetly get better mileage. The car is a 95 850 turbo w/124000 miles and I changed plugs, filter, wires and cap/rotor about 20000 miles ago.

I am not getting any CEL or any codes from the engine module in the A2 socket. But i have read a lot that changin the MAF,fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump usually makes a diference on the car for the better.

IF i have no codes or Cel, is changing the maf or FPR a waste of money or would I notice a diference in the mileage with changing the things and making the price of parts up with the difference with the increase in mileage..

Another thing..do I still have to use the OBDii scanner to get any codes if don't a CEl

Thx
