NEED CD CHANGER INFO 850 1995

Hello,

Continuing with what Arnie had said, I would highly recommend the Alpine (model number CHM-S630). This is a 6 disc CD changer and is actually better than the original Volvo dealer installed optional unit. If you plan to buy new, I would recommend visiting www.crutchfield.com (or giving them a call).

They have this unit (actually on clearance now) and adapter (the VolAlp that Arnie mentioned) together for $209 ($189 for the changer; 19.99 for the adapter). I bought this same setup for the wife's 1995 850 Turbo a few years back and paid $229 just for the changer alone (the adapter was extra). The sound from this unit is phenomenal (Alpine is high quality equipment). They also will help with any questions that you may have installing it. This company is simply the best I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend Crutchfield if you plan to buy a changer. The service after the sale alone is worth it. They will also include (free of charge) instructions for disassembling your car to install.

Anyway, let me know if you need anything else.
