OBD I software recommendations/scan tool 850

Most commonly available software (ie Alex Peper OBD-2.com) require the car be OBD II compliant which didn't happen w volvo til 1996 although some late 95's of other manuf. had semi compliance. We have 95 Ford (I know, dirty word) Windstar that is semi OBD II compliant. As mentioned, the 95 volvo has its own OB diagnostic module under the hood that requires no tool to use. Alex Peper's software runs on a aptop or most any PC.
