How to replace front wheel bearings 96 850 GLT 850 1996

There is a FAQ on this one at Bay 13. Essentially you remove the caliper, rotor and spindle. Remove the four bolts from the back of the hub, install new hub and put back together. There are a couple of variations on how to do this, myself I pull the entire spindle assembly out and put it on my box and change the hub/bearing out. Some guys prefer to do it more in the car and remove the lower control arm from where it mounts to the engine cradle, I take it loose at the ball joint and take the strut off. The only part that may give you some grief is getting the axle out of the hub, some of those are rusted in bad. Bad enough that I bought the OTC tool for doing it. I don't think there is any right or wrong way to do these, so long as you get it done and get it done right.
