Rear seat heaters and switches--pre-wired or not 850

Would like to put rear seat heaters in my 97 wagon, but I've never had the carpeting up or the center console out to know if Volvo pre-wired for the rear seat heating elements or ran leads for the rear heater switches. You can buy the seat elemets from Volvo for an arm and a leg, but whether you also need a wiring harness as well I do not know. I've flipped forward the rear seats and poked around a bit looking for some leads but can't find any. Whether they're hidden under the carpeting or the fiber board covering under the seats I don't know. Any help appreciated before I think about buying the heating pads and taking things apart. Dick
