AUTO Trans DIPSTICK question

Right after you break it! I have never had a problem with broken trans dipsticks. I have broken my share of engine oil dipsticks. Partly because they are plastic and partly because they stick up and get in the way. I usually do it while working on the fan shroud and relays right there on the front of the car. Even if you do snap it off, you can plastic weld them back together and they look and function fine.
