universal cam positioning sensors 850 1993

I have a non-turbo 93 850 glt with a bad cam positioning sensor, my buddy said I can have the sensor off of his "running when wrecked" 95 or 96 850 turbo (cant remember the exact year). Now i was just making sure that the cam positioning sensor will be the same, they bolt up the same but you know how complicated volvos are. Thank you all for any help.
