Long Starting S40-V40 2001

I purchased a 2001 S40 1.9T with 80 000km a few monts ago and have been happy with the car overall. However, once in a while the car needs a long cranking before it starts. I would say I have to keep the key in the start position for about 3-5 sec before the engine finally catches. Once it is running, all is well (good idle etc). This happens maybe once out of every 20 starts. I am using high octane gas and have always done so over the past 4 months. The car also has a new battery. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
