Have them check the Motor mounts! V70-XC70 1998

Thanks Masher. I just did the wiggle test on my Volvo but could not discern any motor movement altho the entire car body did move a bit. I tried to press my body against thecars body to keep it from moving as I pushed back and forth on the oil filler. I plan to have a Volvo garage check my mounts professionally (if there is such a way).

BTW, should I have tried to move the engine from right to left or from front to back to check for broken motor mounts. I stood on the side of the car and tried to move the engine right to left.

Any other thoughts as to LOW SPEED HARD TURNS rumble causes out there in Volvo Lovers Land?
Walt
