normally if you got water in the injector wiring or ignition you would have a misfire too. there is a power supply that runs from your positive cable down to a clamp on the battery tray and sometimes that gets corroded and or broken. check it by wiggling it roughly down by the clamp area. also have you checked for fuel pressure and for spark?
