battery dead all the time!!!! 850 1996

Hello This is my first time be gentle. I have a 850 turbo wagon 96 to be exact. I am having a problem... it is dead all the time!!! It started with the battery light to which i replaced the battery.Then it was still dying so I replaced the alternater ouch. However the battery is only lasting about two weeks It used to last more like 3 months and has reduced alot in the time between deaths. I do not drive much this is what the mechanic are saying is the problem. Now only after all those repairs. so per their suggestion i use a trickle charger about once a month, Even with all this work i have a dead battery about once a month. Help!!! Thanks Buckley
