i think it is the B5 socket. you put the test wire that is attached on the a side in the B5 socket and pull the codes first by holding at least one second and not more than 3. after you read the codes you hold it down for at least 5 seconds and not more than 10. than repeat and hold it down for at least 5 seconds and not more than 10. this should reset it.
