Turn off running lights S80

I fear you will become a perfect example of the "self-fufilling prophecy syndrome" concerning your satisfaction with your "wife's" car. You already got a hardon about your "wife's" car over nothing. Running lights are a proven safety feature and provide no downside. Let her decide if she wants them on. If she doesn't, she can ask the dealer to reprogram,(nicely), when she gets first service work done.
