Yet another A/C question 850 1996

Sorry- refrigerant. I checked the gauge w/ AC running full blast, recirc, fan all the way up, and it cycled quickly. I know you're right, but am in denial and thinking I can just add more r-134a and it will fix it; at least temporarily. The evaporator was replaced at 61k, it's at 115k now, and as long as I've owned the car (only 4 months) it's never cranked out cold air. I'll try adding 1/2 a can like you said, see if there's any difference. If not, I'll go to the pros- I'm sure that's where I'm going to wind up anyway.
Thanks for your help and advice!
Michael
