engine swap 850

Thanks in advance to all who read and any who respond to this. Recently I picked up a 94 850 very inexpensively which has massive internal engine problems (aka motor is dead, knew this when I bought it). It is the N/A (non turbo) version of the 5cyl (B5254FS w/ air pump). Of course with enough time and money, theoretically anything is possible, but is it a good idea to try to put a B5234 or say a type R engine (and presumably a wiring harness and ECU/PCM) in a car that was originally meant to be N/A? I havent really stumbled on a faq or how to page that had much info specifically on 850's so if someone can point me to places or people that have a lot of knowledge here I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

BDG
