Anyone have any luck complaining about their ETS to volvo customer care? S70

Has anyone had any luck in complaining to Volvo Customer Care about their ETS unit failing? When I called they basically told me to talk with the dealer and see what their resolution would be. Then call them if I wasn't satisfied. I'm curious if I'm just wasting my time or if I could save a few hundred dollars if VERY VERY persistent.
