Suspension Springs Testing 850 1993

I have finally bit the bullet and purchased new shocks (Bilstein's) for our 1993 850GLT. I am debating whether or not to replace the springs or not. Is there any definitive way to test whether or not the springs are still "good"?The ride height seems pretty level. I have looked at aftermarket springs and virtually all of them lower the car over an inch. I am not really interested in a "low rider", scraping the bottom, etc. Thanks for your assistance.
