Water pump question? 850 1995

Well while sitting in a long back-up on the Interstate this morning, I
unfortunately began to see steam (coolant) coming from under the hood. I made it to work after the idiot light came on and after opening the hood it would seem from my early assumption that it is a water pump. (138k original)
What I would like to know is, if it is the pump, does removal involve taking off
the timing or serpentine belt also? If so, I want to replace them while I am at it.
