My 850 never burns out bulbs! True! 850 1994

My family and I have had our 1994 850 for 11 years now, with 224,000km on it. I have NEVER had to replace a bulb of any kind with the exception of one headlight bulb around three years ago. With the suggestion of my mechanic, I have the instrument panel dimmed from 100% brilliance to around 90% brilliance to extend the life of the bulbs. It's getting so rediculous that I look forward to having to replace a turn signal bulb or tailight some day! I did replace the reverse lamps with high wattage halogen years ago (still working), and also installed a right side rear fog lamp, at lower wattage to give more "red" at the tail during storms. My fog lamps are aftermarket, but all the wiring and switches are OEM. Go figure.....
