Panel beating - to be or not to be 850 1996

You have already concluded what I did with my car - when I bought it there were no dents. In the course of a lot of driving in 5 months (150 mi/day) it picked up two dents - one fender horizontal linear above the bumper guard (maybe shopping cart) and a ding just behind the driver's window (someone careless with their door). I looked at it and thought "that detracts from the looks". Then I thought "be happy for how good a 10 year old car looks" and I don't see them anymore. A footnote to your question about how the job may turn out - the previous owner had mine painted, and where those dings are, it looks like original paint - no flaking or cracking at all. Good luck with your car.
