Stereo Questions 850

Hello Margaret.

1. I am unfortunately unable to tell you the size of the rear shelf speakers, however I can tell you that they are Volvo part number 9128133, altough the R's came with Volvo P/N 6816304 -- which appears to come as a pair. They appear to be a 2-way arrangement.

2. There are in fact speakers located in there. They as well appear to be a 2-way arrangement with some sort of bass ducting and the top and bottom edges of the metal support cropped to box it up a little. If you want the V P/N of those, I can provide them as well, however I'll bet you my Mac SE that they are not worth the price you are asked to pay.

3. I don't know about you, but there was already a Volvo CD Changer cable in my trunk. If you open the drunk, lift the spare tire cover, and look in the hole on the left hand side of the car, you might find a pair of cables, one being signal compatible with the Alpine M-Bus protocol (while physically incompatible), whilst the other is a power connector. If it's there, you might only need a mounting bracket to get you on the road... unless you have a big roll of duct tape...
