Seat Belts S70 2000

Who is the engineering genius who designed the front seat belts on the S70. The curved slot at the the top does not allow the belt to fully retract without special care. Very annoying when the belt must be constantly watched and specially repulled to allow full retraction and prevent a loose belt being slammed in the door.

Has everyone else just learned to live with this inconvenience? We paid extra for this "luxury"! The guy assigned to seat belts must have been last in his last in his engineering class.
