"Will not idle" and "starts up and runs" seem to be a little inconsistant. Looks like you've allready done alot but try to remove and clean the throttle body and associated flame trap fitting. You may need to drill out the small vacuum line tube. Also check your air cleaner. Don't know where you live or where the car has sat for two years but I've found that small critters sometimes tend to set up house in the air cleaners of idle cars.
