blower for the air conditioner 850 1994

I just made this last repair a weekend ago.

Did you loose all of the speeds or only 1-3? If you only lost those speeds then you have a bad resistor. This may have been caused by your motor starting to bind, which is possibly due to the lack of a cabin air filter which was my problem.

The repair isn't too hard. The motor is directly behind the glove box, which isn't too hard to remove. The knee bolster needs to be removed as well also not hard.

The dealer wants about 500 to replace both the motor and resistor for non ECC cars. If you get the parts from FCP Groton the cost is about 180 if I remember correctly.
