Rear Tailgate Gasket strip

My 1995 wagon has a rubber and metal gasket on the rear hatch at the bootom of the window glass. It has slowly been pulling away at one end, and needs to be replaced. It looks as if it slides out, but I asked the parts guy at the dealership, and he was not sure how it is replaced. Has anyone done this repair? Does it require any type of adhesive or special installation tool, or is it just a press fit?
