Radiator leaked at 140K - it this a known problem? 850

Speaking as an old geezer (57), it's a sign of technological progress that anyone would ask whether a radiator failure at 140,000 miles is a known problem. That's a long time for a part that spends its life heating up and cooling off.

On our 1987 740, the radiator hose fitting on the plastic side tanks just snapped off one day with no warning. Fortunately, all-metal radiators are available for that model - I hope that same is true for the 850s. If so, I highly recommend you get an all-metal radiator.
