Tire recommendations S80 2001

The traction TA's have tenacious grip and wear like iron. Downside: harsh ride and higher rolling resistance.
When I switched to Falken Ziex my average mileage went up 3 mpg 25 to 28. They are smoother riding, some would say mushy, it depends on your driving style. I like comfort and efficiency. Good traction in rain, average in snow. My car came with Blizzaks so snow traction doesn't matter so much.
