The "3" for Halifax is correct up to MY2000 when the plant was closed. Even at that only about 2000 or so cars a year were assembled there. It was a dodge around the North American auto trade pact or some such thing. When I worked in downtown Halifax, I remember semi-finished 70 series coming in to the container port and being transported by truck from the port, thru downtown, out to the plant. For the most part the cars were complete, except for interior, some exterior trim and decent wheels (all came in with steelies). All of this stuff was in boxes that were stored inside the car.
