S70 A/C S70 1998

My S70 A/C works when the weather is below 65 degrees. The output would be anywhere between 39 and 41 degrees. However, if the outside temp is above 65 degrees and try to start A/C, NO cold air will be produced. Why would my A/C work during cooler weather and not during warmer days when I do really need it. Someone told me possibly dryer reciever. Any thoughts????
