another AC ? high non-cycling pressure

have read many many posts regarding the operation and recharge of the AC system.

one item not totally clear:
the posts i've read indicate that the max. low pressure during cycling should be between 25 and 40 psi with 40 being too high. the high pressure cut-in would be somewhere around 50, once again, while the system is cycling during the request for cooling.

what i'm not clear on is what the static pressure SHOULD be during a non-cycling process.

my system during cycling is low cut-out is about 37 and high cut-in about 50.

during non-request / non-cycling, i am about 70 psi. ?

any feedback ?

thanks
