Looking to purchase S80 2001

Common trouble items reported by 1999-2003 S80 owners who post on this board:

Electronic Throttle Module (ETM)
ABS module
Oil pump pickup O rings (must remove oil pan to replace)
Transmission
Front stabilizer bar links
Front spring seats
Front suspension members
Door switches (false alarms; won't lock)
Steering wheel module (SWM)
Upper electronics module (UEM)
Lamp sockets

The first 2 items are typically $1000+ repairs.

$14.5K is a good price, but I wouldn't own one out of warranty. figure on $1000 per year for maintenance and repairs.
