In Dash Cupholer V70-XC70 2001

Same thing just happened to me yesterday. After the service rep. laid the price on me I asked if they have any oxygen in the customer "lounge". I'm completely fed up! I just went over to the coffee area at the dealer, took a wooden stir-stick and went inserted about a half inch of it between the pop-out flat part and the dash and then broke it off. It'll be an interesting conversation piece as I'm driving potential real estate buyers around Las Vegas. I'll just say..."Hey, it's a Volvo, not a Honda".
