Removing Sensor Blower for Climate Control?????? V70-XC70

Limon,

Remove the radio and climate control module.

Push in on the tabs on either side of the radio with a coin. They will pop out. Grasp them and pull the radio out. Disconnect the wiring.

Then reach up through the radio opening and push the tab on the bottom of the ECC module to release it and remove it as well.

You can easily access the fan/sensor through the opening. It turns 1/4 to release. Then you can disconnect its plug and remove it from the car for cleaning.
