cleaning PVC system (?) 850

The "box" is located under the intake manifold on the front side of the engine. You do need to remove the intake manifold. Not a bad job, but if your car is old I would go for new equipment such as the box, O rings as well as hose and connections plus a new intake gasket. A good time to clean the throttle body and EGR parts. My intake was so bad I took it to my favorite machine shop where they vatted it and it looks like new now. Some of the tubine, plastic stuff, is old, brittle and will require replacement. I used some 1/2 inch soft copper tubin for one of the tubes fom the box to the turbo. Have fun!!
