code P0352 S70 T5 update S70 1999

Just got back from the dealer: 2 1/2 hours each way, but only 2 hours drinking their coffee and looking at the shiny new cars in the showroom and the orphan 2WDs on the back row of the used lot. This getting up at 4 a.m. business has to stop.
Before going, I had disconnected the wiring harness to the # 2 injector, checked codes, and still got only a 0352. Left the #2 injector unwired, to avoid pumping raw fuel into the cat. Stumbled up the interstate going 4-clump, 4-clump. Dealer could not replicate the problem at all. Go figure.
Dealer did check the coils and the resistance in the injectors. Now I'm wondering what I'd have found if I'd reconnected the injector, cleared codes, and started the car again before making the trip; but the injector, stethoscoped, sounded just like all the rest during my diagnostic procedure. Sooo, it's running again, and I'm still wondering what caused it and when it will come back. Maybe I ought take up figuring out where Atlantis really is, or who has the holy grail--might be equllly satisfying hobbies.
