Broke my rearview mirror clean off! 850

Sgraf--sounds like you broke it. Hate to meet you in a dark alley at night! Look up at the twin lights overhead. At the end of each facing you is a tiny rectangular slot. Insert a small screw driver and pop the two lenses loose. Once you do that you will see two more screws. Undo those and the six-inch square mount will come loose. With that out of the way you will see the two screws that hold the mirror in place. Go down to a wrecking yard and score a new one. I changed my mirror out for a self-dimming one from Volvo because I got tired of forever reaching up and flipping it down when somebody came up behind me. The self-dimming mirror is probably the best Volvo parts buy at present. And believe me, there are next to no bargains in parts from Volvo. Will cost you around $43 from Volvo Houston, 1-800-468-0041, cheapest place to buy Volvo parts. If you spring for it, email me at rtparr@open.org and I will tell you how to install it. Easy job. Dick
