I think autozone will read your codes for free and you need to know what they are. I'm guessing your code(s) is probably a cylinder(s) misfire due to a bad plug(s) or wire(s). Yeah, you're overdo for a tuneup. Check FCPGroton.com for plugs, wire set plus a dist cap/rotor and new air filter. It'll make her run like new
