Removing Sensor Blower for Climate Control?????? V70-XC70

Brian,

I believe I have the ECC with left and right temperature knobs and fan speed slide lever that has an Auto setting. I don't believe you'll find the V70 in the Haynes manual since only the 850 manual is available here in the States.

Anyway, I will certainly remove the left and right temperature knobs to see if there are screws holding this thing in. It is really in there solidly. If there are screws holding this thing in place, that would explain it.

Thank goodness I didn't take a screwdriver to this thing. I'll tackle this and the upper strut mount this weekend. That clunking noise is annoying.
