Limon,

These instructions are from the S/V/C 70 manual. It is available in the U.S. from Haynes directly or IPD, among others.

You have the ECC. Don't remove the knobs--it isn't necessary.

I've removed the ECC and it really is easy. Don't be afraid to press and then push the unit out by placing your fingers behind it.

The instructions also suggest that the switch adjacent to the sensor be removed (by pushing it out from behind) for greater convenience.
