Front Low Beam Haedlights V70-XC70 2001

My message indicator came on and said, BULB FAILURE DIPPED BEAM. So, I checked and my low beams had BOTH gone out. I checked the high beams and they were fine.
I replaced both front low beam bulbs and stil they did not work. The side running lights work, the rear lights work but not the front.
I checked the fuses related to the front low beams in the engine compartment and on the side of the dash. They were good, but I replaced them anyway. Still my front headlights do not work.
Can anyone suggest any fix?
Is there a relay I don't know about or something?
