AC woes 850

After you move the horns, let us know if that helps... in a new post. The engine bay on my 95 gets too hot in city traffic, and the high pressure side of the ac never gets cold enough to cool the cabin.

Yesterday, the air temp displayed on the dash was 120F at idle. If you take the Volvo pocket guide guidelines and subtract 40F from 120F, the dash vent can only cool to 80F! Not enough to cool the cabin. I suspect the engine fan doesn't blow hard enough to dissipate the heat from the exhaust manifold area, plus trying to cool the water, oil, tranny fluid, and the r143a all at the same time.
