Tranny up shift problem? 850 1994

If you are driving in "sport" mode (as opposed to "economy") the tranny will use a more aggressive shift point program... it will downshift more readily under load (or throttle position), and hold the lower gear longer. In "economy" mode, the transmission does what's called "short shifting".... i.e. shifting up at lower RPM's. Kinda like the difference between riding (and shifting) a Harley as opposed to a "rice burner". Turbos need the higher RPM's to keep them on full boil, normally aspirated engines usually don't.
