replacing engine mount V70-XC70 1998

I'm having some rattling/clunking even going over small bumps now from the front and it doesn't sound like stut problems. Was there any such sound when going over bumps with your car before changing the engine mount? I'm thinking that this is my problem too, but not sure. I am having my struts replaced in the near future so I thought I would just wait until then and replace the mount if it is sagging or broken. Thanks!
