Can I drive 97 GLT without the ABS module in the car? 850

I am having the brake shudder issue as a few others are, as well. I first thought that it was the front rotors/pads. Now I am guessing that it is the ABS module. Doesn't happen every time, more when the car is full of adults and things are hot. Temp in the 100's etc. Rarely happens when my wife is driving it. (I sold my matching one).

I want to remove the ABS module and check for a few things. Is the vehicle useable with it out, and who and where is the fellow that rehabs these please? Thanks.
