It's the "air mass"sensor located just after the air cleaner. I was able to remove and clean with electronic cleaner. Has been 1 year without a problem. Use your wifes blow dryer to heat up the air mass connection that is on the throttle body side and it will come off easily after removing clamp..
It's certainly worth a try since the sensor is 100.00+
Be sure and use a cleaner that doesn't leave a residue. Do not try to disassemble the sensor! When you look in the body of the unit you will see the filament insert. Uses a #25 tork to remove two screws on the air cleaner side.
