PCV Oil trap removal (oil separator) S80

Hi,

My mechanic said he noticed the black box known as the oil separator is leaking. He suggests that he remove it and replace it. I'm a do it yourselfer so I got the parts at the dealer's. I asked him for the printed procedure but he said it doesnt exist. A volvo mechanic told me I had to remove the intake manifold to access the black box. Is there any way around that? Any tricks of the trade someone can share with me?

Thanks in advance

Alex Picard
