Speedometer works some of the time S80

2001 S80 THE SPEEDOMETER WORKS SOME OF THE TIME. NOW THAT THE TEMPERATURE IS IN THE 90 MY SPEEDOMETER WORKS IN THE MORNING GOING TO WORK BUT NOT IN THE COMING HOME. THE ODOMETER WORKS ALL OF THE TIME. TAC WORKS ALL OF THE TIME. DEALER 1ST WANTED TO REPLACE THE ABS CIRCUIT BOARD BUT I AM WAITING AS I THINK THEY JUST WANT TO REPLACE CIRCUIT BOARDS. ANYBODY HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS
